From a Classical Chinese Medical perspective, the acupuncture meridians function like pathways of communication between organ systems. Acupuncture helps open and support these lines of communication, promoting systemic balance, vitality, and more efficient internal functioning.
From a biomedical perspective, acupuncture has been shown to influence the nervous, endocrine, and circulatory systems by stimulating neural pathways, supporting vagal regulation, improving circulation, and helping the body shift toward a more regulated state.
Structural Integration and acupuncture offer a deeply complementary approach. SI works to reorganize structure, unwind persistent tension patterns, and improve functional alignment, while acupuncture supports the internal systems that influence how the body regulates, heals, and responds to stress. Together, these modalities support the body both structurally and internally.
