The Body Transcendence Handbook

A guided companion for your Structural Integration journey.

The Body Transcendence Handbook was created to support the process of Structural Integration through reflection, movement awareness, and integration practices. It provides space to track changes, reinforce movement cues, and deepen awareness throughout your series.

Why journal during SI?

Structural Integration creates change not only through hands-on work, but through awareness, movement, and how new patterns are integrated into daily life.

Journaling helps bring attention to these changes by creating space to observe shifts in posture, movement, sensation, and perception throughout the process.

Movement education & between-session practice

After each session, you are given specific movement cues to support the changes developing in your body.

These cues are individualized based on what is observed and felt during the session, including standing and slow movement patterns.

Although simple, they are most effective when practiced regularly with attention and consistency. They help reinforce new patterns and support the integration process between sessions.

What the journal supports

  • Creates a space to process physical, mental, and perceptual changes after each session
  • Supports integration of movement cues into daily life
  • Encourages body awareness and accountability between sessions
  • Includes structured prompts for each phase of the 10-Series
  • Provides space for personal reflection and notes
  • Features selected insights and quotes from Dr. Ida Rolf and Structural Integration principles

This helps the process of change become more integrated, stable, and accessible in daily life.
